My Eternal Season DUTIES: Designer LINK: myeternalseason.com This site was designed for Matt Oswalt. He writes "tongue in cheek" sports columns. He said that because he was writing humorous sports reviews, he wanted the site to mimic an ESPN style sports site, but at the same time have a humorous look to it. This gave me the idea to bring in the "armchair quarterback" look. The broken down leather at the top is used to bring out the old recliner that's seen better days, and the lumberjack flannel is used to give the feel of someone sitting in their den screaming at the television during the big game. Grease stains were added to the background in the content area as well. Though it was difficult bringing the two looks together, I actually like the juxtaposition of the two styles and it was a lot of fun to design.

One of my favorite comedians is Patton Oswalt, and getting the chance to do fun illustrations and animations that are utilized within his site has definitely been a lot of fun. I created multiple Illustrations and animations for the headers used within the "SPORES" section of his site that all match with their corresponding buttons. I won the Best of Quarter award out of all of the Motion Graphics classes for this project. The project was built with photos of myself, found photos throughout the internet and some illustrations all composited into building environments. I had a great time with this project.
